Ardyn – ‘Together’
The new single from English duo is produced by Tourist and has a lovely soft-rock Fleetwood Mac vibe in the chorus. One for the re-spin.

Jafaris – ‘If You Love Me’
One of four tracks released today on Dubliner Jafaris’ new EP Velvet Cake. ‘If You Love Me’ is the instant standout for me, from a talented young man who is on the up.

Mix & Fairbanks – ‘Girls’
Mix & Fairbanks are two young Kildare producers and DJs Rob Smyth and Gary O’Reilly who in a short time have been nailing electronic disco productions in a live setting, via DJ edits, remixes and mixes.
‘Girls’ the Mix & Fairbanks song from the EP is an absolute dancefloor stomper, a synth-rush tune that melds the bouncing pinging synth of ‘Inspector Norse’ with a Daft Punk style vocoder robot vocal. I can’t stop playing it and I’m going to be playing it all summer long.
Along with other Newbridge, Kildare crew, they feature on the 045 Recordings EP out now and launching at Lumo this Saturday

Joe Goddard – Home (Morgan Geist remix)
A remix of a highlight from Joe Goddard’s album released today by Metro Area’s Morgan Geist. The sample is from Brainstorm’s ‘We’re on Our Way Home’ , which Goddard says he found on tour in his Electric Lines playlist.

Soulé – ‘Good Life’ (Mark McCabe remix)
A dancefloor rework of Soulé’s recent ‘Good Life‘ single by the one and only Mark McCabe. Soulé dropped a new single last week and plays Future Proof #3 in Bello Bar on May 25th.

A highlight form my leading album of the week. A reworked version of an old song that shows how far these New York ladies have come in their career.

Songhoy Blues – ‘Bamako’
Light Afro funk from the Malian band’s new album Résistance on Transgressive Records to be released June 16th. Iggy Pop features on the new album.
