Throbbing electro trio Paranoid London touch down in Dublin’s Pygmalion on February 25th. Tickets on Dice FM and RA.


Reggae producer and vocal legend Lee “Scratch” Perry plays The Bowery in Rathmines on Sunday March 19th. Tickets are €25+ from Eventbrite. He also plays Glaway and Belfast that week.

After this weekend’s inaugural Sounds From A Safe Harbour went down a treat, two more festivals have returned with news of lineups for Cork.

The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival has announced its lineup for its 37th year for 22nd – 26th October, which includes non-jazz acts The Coronas, Gary Numan, The Drifters, Booka Brass, Jerry Fish’s Electric Sideshow, Blackalicious, Colin Stetson and Sarah Neufeld and jazz acts like The Darius Brubeck Quartet, Cassandra Wilson and Marcus Miller.

Also announced this week, IndieCork which celebrates the best in independent music along with film has announced its programme at the Crane Lane Theatre over 8 nights from October 4th to 11th which includes Spekulativ Fiktion, Stevie G presents Soul Power – an A/V journey through the history of soul music, Wiggle, Caoilian Sherlock, video. Irene Buckley, Elaine Howley and Roslyn Steer present ‘Crevice’- a collaborative exploration in sound; The Dean, Darling and more.
