On October 17, Cooly G will follow up her debut Playin Me with Wait Til’ Night, “an album of sensitive, lo-fi bedroom music” with lyrics centred around “seduction, lust and sex.” By the sound of it, it’s more R&B than dancefloor electronic and preview listens of the album have revealed a dark synth and slow-paced R&B style.
The title track, and video single ‘Wait Til’ Night’ puts a more confident, front and centre approach to Cooly’s music, as evident by the video and the song’s relatively simple structure.
