Faws wisely remains anonymous and let’s the music do the talking. His latest track from the upcoming Blue Notes EP sees him mine Whitney Houston’s ‘It’s Not Right But It’s OK’ for source material, adding some industrial percussive coldness and cloudy synth chords to the slowed-down track.

This song’s recent coverage on XLR8R alongside tracks from Mmoths and Frankie Bingo have led to Jim Carroll’s piece on why “Irish people need to be told what’s good from outside”. Worth a read.
