Hard Working Class Heroes is happening in two weekends. We have stage times and convention info already but today Fight Like Apes (Saturday October 4th), Ham Sandwich (Friday October 3rd) and SOAK (Thursday October 2nd) were added as the 2014 Heroes bands who will play the weekend each headlining a night of the festival.
The festival has also announced its daytime trail HWCH and the City, good for those who can’t make the night proceedings, or who prefer their music in more intimate unusual places like HMV Grafton Street, HMV Henry Street, NDRC, Honest To Goodness, Brother Hubbard, Sister Sadie, Jo Burger, Oxfam, George’s Street, Oxfam Parliament Street, Gutter Bookshop, Exchange, Powerscourt Town Centre, Pitbros, Urban Picnic, Twisted Pepper and The Church.
Attendance to the daytime events are free with night-time three-day tickets €45 or €20 per day.
Not bad if you’ve any interest in seeing what’s going on in Irish music (and you should).
