First Fortnight is now in its ninth year is a music and arts festival that aims to challenge mental health stigma and to create an open discussion and understanding of mental health.

A wide range of events from live music, film, theatre, discussion, sport and arts will take place in 17 counties across Ireland in January.

Tuesday 5th January at curated by All Tvvins featuring Cork musician Rushes and Indie rock band.True Tides (ex-MKAI)

Thursday 12th January curated by Delorentos featuring Limerick trio Bleeding Heart Pigeons and Dublin rockers Pillow Queens.

Sunday 14th January @ MVP Dublin.

What better emotional release than singing enjoy this event in the company of friends and strangers at the Sing Along Social. It’s a zero commitment choir, no need to practice just come down and sing along to your favourite tunes in a unique community atmosphere.

Friday 12th January @ The Hawkswell Theatre, Sligo with Choice Music Prize winner Adrian Crowley and Sorcha Fox.

Saturday 13th January @ The Glens Centre, Leitrim with ambient folk singer Nocturnes
