Levis Corner House is a small pub in Ballydehob, Cork that is in the family of Joe O’Leary, previously of the band Fred.

It looks like this:

The pub and grocery has been in Joe’s family got 100 years and it counts Nick Cave among its visitors.

Joe has been putting on gigs since taking over from the likes of Duke Special, David Kitt, Liam O’Maonlai, Jenn Grant, Rachel Sermanni, Mama Kin and more. Here’s what it looked like when Mama Kin, Lucy Peach & Michael Caruana played recently:

Mama Kin Monday 21st September

Mama Kin, Lucy Peach & Michael Caruana. Savage gig. Sound heads. We’re all the better for your visit and looking forward to the next one already. And a big shout out to all the Monday night messers! Brilliant brilliant audience- thanks for coming out on a school night & shaking the walls. Mama Kin Lucy Peach

On Sunday October 4th, he’s putting on a special one-day event called Secret Song which will feature 15 performances in the pub and about it. You’ll only find out who’s playing by turning up but they’re promising Irish and international acts.

Tickets are €30 for the event.
