Bantum & Loah
Take it
Bantum is back and his new track is a winner.
This time, the Corkman is teaming up with the soulful Dublin / Sierra Leonean singer Loah for a track that sticks with Ruairi Lynch’s mix of guitar and electronic sonics. The production is tighter and the impact is greater.

Junior Boys
Big Black Coat
The Canadian dance duo return with a textured new release.
The Canadian duo’s name pops up now and then in the context of collaboration (Jessy Lanza) but their fifth album Big Black Coat has pulled the focus back. Arriving five years after the last one, the Ontarians sound refreshed and plugged into electronic music of many forms: disco, house, electro and synth-pop.
The title track has stood out for me so far perhaps because it shares some of its DNA with the hypnotic rhythms of fellow Ontarian Caribou.
