While it’s nigh-on impossible to repeat the impact of Future Islands performing ‘Seasons (Waiting On You)’ on Letterman, their performance of new single ‘Ran’ last night reminds us, through sudden movements, growling and odd dancing, that there are a few bands out there like them, and few performers as individual as Sam.
