The 16 category shortlists for this year’s BRIT Awards have been announced ahead of the live event in Manchester on February 28th.
CMAT was nominated in International artist of the year alongside Rosalia, Chappell Roan, Tyler, Doechii, Bad Bunny and more. It’s the second time CMAT has been nominated in the category after 2024’s first shortlisting.
Former BRIT School students Lola Young and Olivia Dean take the most nominations with five each with Sam Fender shortlisted for 4 and Fred again.., Lily Allen, Jim Legxacy, Wolf Alice and Dave receiving 3 nominations.
Geese and Turnstile are nominated for International group of the year while Jacob Alon was revealed as the Critic’s Choice for new artist earlier this week.
The live event will be broadcast on ITV and ITVX. on February 28th.
