Elishka Lane is a Wexford-born, Dublin-based singer-songwriter who has just released her second single of introspective folk and rock-flecked music.
Lane cites Big Thief, Haley Heynderickx, Alice Phoebe Lou, Johnny Flynn and Laura Marling as influences.
‘Personal Best’ is that single bringing that sound with fiddle and bright production, with lyrics exploring the vulnerable feeling of not being good enough.

The video brings that to life with Jilly McGrath directing a talent contest- themed clip with Carrie Crowley (An Cailín Ciúin) serving as one of the judges.
Elishka Lane will be celebrating the launch of the single at the Cobblestone Backroom with support from fellow singer-songwriters Greg Tisdall and Matilda Rowe this Sunday April 12th.
Elishka is also an actor and comedy improviser. She’s a founding member of Gift Horse Theatre and Broad Strokes Improv, an award-winning comedy improv troupe.
