Ahead of two Dublin shows and a London gig in the coming days, Kojaque drops a new track in time for hayfever season.
‘Antihistamine’ is the rapper’s first song since Phantom Of The Afters and is out with a self-directed video on Soft Boy Records today.
The song reflects on recent world events with references to Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the rise of fascism, the dehumanisation of refugees, and the Amazon spaceship with Katy Perry on it.
“The last couple years has turned me into a tinfoil hat conspiracy theorist. I can’t remember another time in my life that has felt as dystopian as the world we’re in right now. I think people need an alternative to the current hellscape, there needs to be an escape, there needs to be another narrative, there needs to be joy and music, joy as an act of rebellion.”
