Another Love Story’s travelling festival series Love Is A Stranger returns to the North West this May, taking over Juniper Barn in Ballymote, Co. Sligo from Friday May 15th to Sunday May 17th 2026.
The first lineup announcement is a strong one.
Headlining is Danilo Plessow aka MCDE – the German DJ and producer behind the consistently excellent Motor City Drum Ensemble, one of the best selectors working in house and deep electronic music. Alongside him: Robocobra Quartet, Seán Mac Erlaine and Caoimhín Ó Raghallaigh, The Leon Stax Equation, Moxie, Caoi de Barra, Marion Hawkes, Cían Ó Cíobháin, P Disconaut, Air Ais Arís, Kevin Noone, Turn It On and Toast.
The Baltimore Fiddle Fair also present their own strand featuring Eva Carroll, Jayne Pomplas and Jimmy Clarke, and Leonard Barry and Andy Morrow. More acts to be announced.

The setting is Juniper Barn – carefully restored barns, courtyards and a lakeside in the rolling hills of South Sligo – and the format is signature ALS: intimate, beautifully programmed, with artisan food and drink on site. A return bus runs from Sligo to Juniper Barn on both evenings.
