When Next We Meet Festival returns to Raheen House from May 29th to 31st with led by The Waterboys, Mick Flannery and Susan O’Neill.
Now in its fifth year, the 800-capacity festival in Clonmel continues to carve out a niche as a deliberately small-scale alternative to bigger Irish festivals, with a focus on curation, atmosphere and discovery.
Saturday’s programme centres on Mick Flannery & Susan O’Neill, alongside The Wran, Róisín El Cherif and Eve Whelan. Sunday sees The Waterboys headline with Moxie, Jukebox Gypsy and MDR also playing.
The Hidden Gems stage returns to the walled garden with a strong showing of emerging Irish acts including In Lieu of Flowers, Noah Hayes, The Last Party, Ruairí De Leastar, Cáit Ní Riain, Charcoal Greys and AE Mak, whose new album lands the same weekend.
There’s also a €15 Friday opening night (Clonmel Community Choir, Jo Blonde, Sun Merchant, Babyrat), plus the usual extras: a Makers’ Market, Food Yard, and a new wellness area (Root & Rise with yoga and breathwork sessions).
Set across 3.5 acres near the River Suir, When Next We Meet remains one of the more considered festival experiences on the Irish calendar – one for people who actually want to listen to music.
Tickets:
Saturday €55 | Sunday €65 | Weekend €110 | All-in €130 (limited)
Add-ons for afterparties and wellness sessions available.
