Some very sad news from Naomi at Harmless Noise last night. Her role as a tireless champion of Irish music is coming to an end according to lack of time, money and resources. As a single mother, whose major passion is blogging about Irish music unpaid, you can totally understand her predicament but that’s the problem with this gig.
Naomi’s service to Irish music is indispensable and that deserves some kind of monetary return in order to lighten the burden so she can continue providing it. So, there is currently a fundraiser in the works to be announced soon. If you appreciate her services, it would be a good idea to chip in what you can. Apart from that, suggestions have included taking advertising like myself and a FundIt campaign.
