Common Threads started out as a one day bus journey of music, art & cultural discovery through The Burren in Clare last year.

This year, the event returns with two days over October 11th and 12th, with more music and peformances in The Burren.

Playing live are John Francis Flynn, Sorcha Richardson, HousePlants, Ailbhe Reddy, Uly, Negro Impacto, Royal Yellow, Mynameisjohn, Eugene Lambe, Sally Cinnamon b2b Jimmy Rouge, Fleeting Devotion, Piqué, Common Threads DJs, + more to be announced.

Common Threads is curated and programmed by Peter Kelly and Daithí O Dronaí, and aims to break the mold on a traditional festival setup, by placing emphasis on discovery with the backdrop of the the local community, its spaces and landscape, as they travel by organised bus between venues, with eco-friendly sustainability as part of the decision making.

Tickets

Common Threads Bus voyage tickets (€135 + fee – full day bus tour across 5 venues with over 12 artists) go on sale on this Friday 5th July – members of the mailing list receive early access (8am), and you can sign up to the mailing list.

“It’s amazing to be back for our second year. We’ve built a beautiful community around Common Threads, and it’s lovely to be part of something new and exciting. We’re stepping up this year as well, with a bigger production and a second day. The line up is really special, with some of the best artists in the country.” –

“Getting to do this once was a dream come true for us. Having the opportunity to return to The Burren for a second year is just incredible. We have some special surprises and tweaked some aspects around for a better experience while maintaining the special energy from last year.”
