Galway/London band The Drink pour ghostly pop and folk into ‘The Coming Rain’

Avatar

The London-based band The Drink is anchored by the gentle choral-reaching voice of Galway native Dearbhla Minogue. The band are releasing their second album Capital on November 13th and I featured the Broadcast-esque ‘No Memory’ from it recently.

‘The Coming Rain’ might be even better. It does a similar trick in walking the line between ghostly pop and a taut indie/folk style. It’s a beaut.
