After MC Spank Rock’s crowdpleasing set with Amanda Blank at Forbidden Fruit on Sunday, Naeem Juwan is finally ready to follow up 2006’s YoYoYoYoYo album. That Mobroder project didn’t count. Everything Is Boring and Everyone Is a Fucking Liar is the name of the album, it was co-produced by Boys Noize and it’s out in September. Guests include Santigold, the amazing Big Freedia ( a perfect match) and additional production comes from XXXchange (who largely was responsible for YoYoYoYoYo), Pharrell Williams, Sam Spiegel and Chris Rockswell. The Boys Noize-produced ‘Energy’ samples Can’s ‘Vitamin C’ and features two members of The Death Set on additional instrumentation:
