First Listen: Slow Place Like Home – When I See You…Ice Cream!
Slow Place Like Home, the project of Keith Mannion has morphed from bedroom electronic project to a full live band in recent years and new album When I See You…Ice Cream! is affirmation of his new inclusive ethos.
The second SPLH album was still recored in Mannion’s bedroom but features vocals from Whipping Boy’s Fearghal McKee, Gaze Is Ghost and has a more outward-facing outlook than before.
Overall, it’s a playful and lo-fi leaning album that you can preview below and buy from Bandcamp. Official release is Friday on Strange Brew Rekkids.
