THURSDAY JUNE 7TH

Bokotono @ Fred Zeppelin’s (8pm, €5)
Galway math-rock/post-rockers make their maiden voyage to Cork city, with local proggers Aerialist and Chameleon Fields in support.

The Maes @ Levis’ of Ballydehob (8pm, €10)
Melbourne, Australia sister duo’s unending touring takes them out West to Ballydehob on night one of a Leeside excursion.

The Small Glories @ Coughlan’s (9pm, €15)
Cara Luft & JD Edwards, a duo of songwriters from the Canadian Prairies, bring their collaborative project to the Douglas St. venue.

Shareef Keyes and the Groove @ Crane Lane Theatre (10pm, free)
“Funkafied” six piece with Ghostface Killah collab under their belt stop into the Crane during their first Irish tour.

FRIDAY JUNE 8TH

The Silken Same @ Levis’ of Ballydehob (8pm, donations)
N9-approved Trad Nua duo play a pass-the-hat show at Ballydehob’s music landmark. Support from Graham Sweeny.

A Scene from JAWS  @ The Friary, Shandon st. (9.30, donations)
Cork post-punk four-piece return from Berlin as part of the Friary’s No Covers series. Support from alt-rockers The Bounty.

Aghori, Joey Molinaro and Ruairi O’Baoghaill @ Fred Zeppelin’s (9pm, €7)
An evening of the eclectic and experimental in the red room on Parliament Street, with Waterford drone-metallers Aghori, Galway ritualist Ruairi O’Baoghaill and acoustic black metal alchemist Joey Molinaro.

Two Lions @ Connolly’s of Leap (9pm, €10)
Song, story and spoken word from troubadour Mitchell Slade and collaborators, touring the UK and Ireland from California.

Melbourne, Australia sister duo’s unending touring takes them through the back room on Douglas Street on night two of a Leeside excursion.

The Magic Numbers @ Cyprus Avenue (9pm, €20)
Mercury Prize nominees and multi-platinum-selling indie/folk outfit return following a three-year hiatus to tour new album ‘Outsiders’.

The Moonstomp @ The Sextant (9.30, free)
“Munster’s number 1 Mod DJ” Phil Hope joins the bosses Bob Skavna and Ian Fiasco, for an evening of Blue Beat, Ska, Rocksteady, Boss Reggae and Two-Tone on the quays.

Under the Rose @ Dali (10pm, €tbc)
Simone Gatto and Jamie Behan headline the Carey’s Lane venue’s flagship electronic night.

SATURDAY JUNE 9TH

The Songwriters’ Club @ Hollyhill Library (11am, free)
A new-songwriters’ club, open to budding & experienced songwriters of all ages. Info-sharing, networking and live performances at the Northside’s flagship library.

Rowan @ Golden Discs (2pm, free)
Indie-folk youngfellas play the first leg of their EP launch day upstairs in Golden Discs’ Vinyl Lounge floor.

Cork Rocks for Rory @ Cyprus Avenue (8pm, €10)
The city’s annual tribute to its fondest-remembered blues-rock son, with tributes from Sinnerboy, Mississippi Sheiks and more.

The Minutes @ DeBarra’s of Clonakilty (9pm, free)
Dublin pop-rockers continue a comeback tour of sorts with a gig at DeBarra’s. Tickets are free, follow the instructions at the link.

Fish Go Deep @ Dali (9pm, €12)
Greg and Shane continue their new residency at the former Pavilion building.

SUNDAY JUNE 10TH

Sundown Sunday @ The Sextant (3pm, free)
Gwada Mike’s open-decks residency at the quayside beer garden rounds off a reggae-heavy weekend.
