Le Boom announce return with two gigs in Cork and Dublin on October reopening weekend

After a long two years away, Le Boom are coming back to the stage with two live shows coinciding with Ireland’s October reopening and easing of restrictions.

While Aimie Mallon has recently parted ways with the band, Le Boom’s songwriter Christy Leech is ready to return with that trademark Le Boom energy after two years spent writing, recording and getting things ready for mk. II, and a debut album to be released in 2022.

The shows are on sale this Friday at 9am and the dates are:

Friday October 22nd @ Cyprus Avenue, Cork

Saturday October 23rd @ Whelan’s, Dublin

Tickets for Dublin are €24 plus fees from Ticketmaster.ie while Cork is €22 plus fees from Eventbrite.

The forthcoming Le Boom album traces the highs and lows of a summer of house parties – cans in hands, buzzing around a bluetooth speaker with your favourite people. From disco workouts to electro pop bangers to heartfelt synth ballads and ’80-indebted dance pop, the album marks a new beginning for Le Boom and Christy Leech.
