Mogwai for Dublin, Limerick and Galway gigs

Scottish post-rockers Mogwai have been announced for some Irish shows in 2025.

The band play three Irish shows which are:


Thursday 24th July 2025
Heineken Big Top in Galway (Galway International Arts Festival)

Friday 25th July 2025
The Big Top, Limerick

Saturday July 27th 2025
Vicar Street, Dublin

Mogwai will release their new album The Bad Fire on 24 January 2025, and they released a new single ‘Lion Rumpus’ this month from it.

About Mogwai

Mogwai formed in 1995 in Glasgow and consists of Stuart Braithwaite (guitar, vocals), Barry Burns (guitar, piano, synthesizer, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (bass guitar) and Martin Bulloch (drums). Since 1997, the band have released ten studio albums, with their most recent, 2021’s As The Love Continues, being a commercial and critical success, reaching number 1 on the Official UK Album Charts, amassing a Mercury Prize nomination and winning the Scottish Album of the Year award.

The band have also contributed to and written scores for projects with Amazon Prime and Apple TV+ while Mogwai: If The Stars Had A Sound, a first documentary about the band, directed by longtime collaborator Antony Crook has gone on general release in UK and Irish cinemas this month.
