Something Soft, the now trio’s new album will be released on the indie label on May 16th.

The Irish post-punk band based in Dublin, Belfast, and London released a new single ‘DM:AM’ to mark the album’s news, the followup to their debut Attachment Style.

It’s a song about men DMing women and then getting aggressive when they don’t respond in kind to their unwanted advances.

“They quickly turn to insults about the women, and then once the woman says she’ll expose what they’ve done, she gets a laundry list of reasons why he behaves like this and how much he has to lose, which is meant to make the women feel sorry for them.”

Watch the video by Constance Keane and Colleen Lee.
