Throwing Shapes: Gareth Quinn Redmond, Méabh McKenna and RF Chaney start new project

The Irish musicians harpist Méabh McKenna, drummer Ross Chaney and violin/synth Gareth Quinn Redmond have made an album together called Throwing Shapes to be released on September 7th.

Throwing Shapes is “a hypnotic, texturally rich exploration in sound. Led by the striking timbre of the Irish wire strung harp, the album weaves intricate instrumental tapestries with ambitious electronic synthesis and arrangements.”

Listen to two songs – ‘sonnoh’ and ‘Chosen Talk’ available on Bandcamp.

The album will be available as a limited-edition vinyl. 300 copies are to be released on WRWTFWW / We Release Whatever The F* We Want Records.

Buy on Bandcamp.
