The one-day independent music and arts micro-festival was due to take place September 6th in an outdoor location on the outskirts of Dublin.

The event run by Dublin promoters House of Hibernia and Sleepover Club was intended to put on a version of a festival that contrubuted to “smaller, more meaningful cultural gatherings” with the aim providing an alternative to larger, commercial festivals without sacrificing quality or creativity.

The 450-cap non-commercial DIY festival was due to feature 10 acts including Fizzy Orange, Claudia Isaki, Skinner, Negro Impacto, Delivery Service and more.

Organisers have put out a statement explaining they attempted to do all they could to make it happen.

With the purest of intentions, we set out to create something truly unique in Dublin on September 6th. For the past nine months, we have poured our hearts, souls, personal finances and every spare minute into Final Frontier.

Sadly, for reasons out of our control, the festival can no longer go ahead. We seriously explored every option — even postponing — but couldn’t see a way to deliver on what we promised without letting everyone down. Rather than compromise, we’ve made the tough call to cancel the festival and the afters.

Refunds: All festival and afters tickets (including the Grand Social) will be fully refunded. You don’t need to do anything — we’ll handle it.

Your ticket still counts: If you hold a Final Frontier ticket, you can use it as free entry to any Sleepover Club gig for the rest of 2025, including our end-of-year ball.

Claudia Isaki show: Claudia is still coming over, and we’ll be hosting a special intimate gig with her — your Final Frontier ticket also gets you free entry.

This hurts — not just financially, but emotionally, after months of sacrificing so much to bring this scheme to fruition. We’re so grateful to the artists who championed this and to every single one of you who hyped it, spread the word, and believed in the vision.

House of Hibernia will be on ice for the foreseeable, Schaymon needs to go missing again for another while. Sleepover Club have some bits planned — expect medium-sized things soon.

Thank you for understanding, thank you for supporting, and thank you for caring. We’re sorry we couldn’t take this trip with you <3
