The Irish alternative-folk six-piece release the live recording today on Island Records, ahead of a busy festival summer and an Irish and UK tour into December.
Dublin band Madra Salach have shared ‘The Man Who Seeks Pleasure (Live from London)’, a recorded live version of the fan favourite captured at their sold-out headline show at The Dome in London on Thursday March 26th.
The song has been a staple of their live set since their earliest days and grew into a Madra anthem over the course of the last year.
The original studio version appears on the band’s January 2026 debut EP It’s a Hell of an Age.

“This version of the Man who seeks pleasure is particularly special to us,” says singer Paul Banks. “It’s from the last show on our debut headline tour and carries with it a lot of raw energy. While we love ‘The Man Who Seeks Pleasure’ which features on our EP, we wanted to release a version with the full band arrangement.”
Madra Salach are Paul Banks (vocals), Adam Cullen (guitar), Jack Martin (mandolin, tin whistle, synth), Maxime Arnold (harmonium), Dara Duffy (drums) and Jack Lawlor (bass). The six met on the Dublin scene playing in different outfits and bonded over a shared love of the Irish traditional canon, building the project up through impromptu pub sessions.
The band have also been announced for The Songs of Shane MacGowan, the upcoming tribute album due November 26th featuring Bruce Springsteen, Primal Scream and Lisa O’Neill, among others.
A packed festival summer ahead includes Roskilde, Latitude, Green Man, End Of The Road and Electric Picnic, alongside an October UK headline run that’s almost entirely sold out, and an Irish December tour with limited remaining tickets in Galway, Kilkenny and Cork. Full dates below.
