A former member of the now disbanded Friend?, Belfast multi-instrumentalist Rachael Boyd has been making her own contemporary and richly textured folk-leaning compositions that take in electronic and post-rock sounds for a couple of years now. Her new EP, Too High, arrives on August 6th on Abandon Building. As well as five original compositions from Boyd, the EP will also feature remixes by Sun Glitters (below), Kelpe, Maps & Diagrams and Origamibro.
The beautiful video above for ‘You Need To Stop Looking’ was hand painted and arranged by Sarah Winters and really suits the song’s otherworldly rolling feel.
