White Antelope (Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes)

Robinpeckhold

I didn’t get a broner for Fleet Foxes as much as many, many other people last year but the solo stuff coming out from singer Robin Pecknold under the guise of White Antelope (or is it Carthage?) is sounding really, really good right about now.

These two songs are most worthy of a Monday morning.

Robin Pecknold – False Knight On The Road

Robin Pecknold – It Ain’t Me Babe

Pecknold is on Twitter. Naturally.

  1. These Fleet Foxes seem to have a lot of stuff to get out of their systems. J Tillman’s solo stuff is groovy too. Too much talent and a deal with Sub Pop? Goddamn them all!
