Aeons release electronic/trad album feat. Rubberbandits; Watch the video for the calming ‘Ar Snámh’.
Aeons is a new Irish band lead by the Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh and and Pádraig Rynne. The Irish language project is a mix of textured electronic pop tones with trad and sean nós influences.
Fís, the band’s debut album is out today on ropeadope Records and features Rubberbandits rapping as Gaeilge.
‘Ar Snámh’ (Irish for ‘At Swim’ of course) is the album’s first track and it has received a video by Michael Kelly. The song is the ideal way in to the album as a whole.
