The Hot Chip frontman is coming to Dublin for a DJ set on Camden Street this month.
Hot Chip are known for their indie-dance bangers and Alexis Taylor is known in his solo work for piano-driven ballads, mostly but in a DJ context, Taylor is an eclectic selector.
His sets draw from from disco, boogie, electro-pop and house through to techno, dub techno, reggae and soul, with an emphasis on vocal-led uplifting music.
Respected London-Irish selector Arveene is on the support slot, and with Hang Dai’s intimate dancefloor, superior soundsystem and sound absorption there’s no doubt this could be a great night.
Tickets are €25 from Resident Advisor.
