BASED is an all-ages music festival returning in April this month at the Dublin venue.

BASED is designed to make live music more inclusive and accessible for young artists and fans with a lineup of indie rock artists.

The over 14s festival will feature nine acts and takes place April 14th 2025 from 4pm to 10:30pm.

Presented by Fluttertone, the bands playing include The Tanseys, The Hex, Urban Hours, The Swings, Robbert Mulligan, Joycult, Stick N Poke, and Mollie.

“I’ve seen so much talent from bands that can’t get opportunities because they’re not 18,” says Fluttertone’s Colm Slattery.

Tickets from €22.30.

The Tanseys – The Tanseys are a high-energy three-piece band from North Dublin, blending elements of alternative rock and post-punk. Known for his sharp lyricism and infectious melodies, his songwriting has drawn comparisons to Noel Gallagher. Whether delivering heavy-hitting, emotional tracks or upbeat dance-worthy anthems, his performances are full of energy and surprises. Mulligan has also gained a strong following on TikTok, where he shares covers and teasers of his original music.

Joycult – Hailing from Kilkenny and Wexford, Joycult are a fierce, female-fronted punk band making waves in the Irish rock scene. Blending elements of classic punk, indie rock, and hardcore, their electrifying performances have lit up iconic venues like Dublin’s Grand Social and Waterford’s Bank Lane. With undeniable energy and a rebellious spirit, Joycult is quickly becoming a standout act.
