All you need to know about Night & Day Festival

Night And Day take places from. 28 to 30 June 2024 in Lough Key Forest Park, Roscommon, near Carrick-On-Shannon.

Acts playing include Damien Dempsey, Susan O’Neill, Ash, The Undertones, The 4 of Us, I Have at Tribe, Gemma Hayes, and Frank and Walters, while the emerging Irish acts on the bill include Morgana, Chalk, Kynsy, Ailbhe Reddy, Roisin El Cherif, Shark School and Last Apollo.

The late night programme features Nialler9, Kelly-Anne Byrne, Efa O’Neill, ELLLL, Colin Perkins, Mark Wolfson and Mayfield along others.

Outside of a schedule of music, exhibitions, political debate and family friendly fun, Lough Key’s 19th-century parkland features majestic trees, follies, bridges and canals to the numerous walks and trails through the native woodlands, Bog garden and forests.

Tickets

Tickets for Night and Day are on sale at https://nightandday.ie.

Weekend camping from €149 plus fees.

Non-camping day tickets cost €50-€70 plus fees.

· The festival is a strictly over-20s event, but those under 14s can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. 


Travel and transport

  • There is free parking on site, however festival goers are encouraged to use public transport.
  • There are shuttle bus services running daily from Sligo, Boyle and Carrick on Shannon.
  • Other bus routes running on Friday and back Monday include: Dublin, Galway, Portlaoise via Athlone and Roscommon.
  • They can be booked here.
  • Car Park: It is just over 1KM from the Festival Car Park to the Campsites. A limited paid for Wheelbarrow service (€5) will be available to assist. Service provided by young local entrepreneurs.

Camping

Night and Day takes place in the stunning surroundings of Lough Key Forest & Activity Park, a beautiful place to escape, reconnect with nature and enjoy the incredible music we have on offer. We have a variety of on-site accommodation options available.

All campsites open at 3pm on the 28th June and close at 12pm on the 01st July.

Glamping

For those requiring extra comforts glamping is still available to book.

Wellness

Bookings are open for the wellness area, which includes a hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. (image attached)

There is also morning yoga on the waterfront. Both can be booked here.

Car Park: It is just over 1KM from the Festival Car Park to the Campsites. A limited paid for Wheelbarrow service (€5) will be available to assist. Service provided by young local entrepreneurs.

Showers:

Showers are in the main campervan and campsite. Tokens can be purchased from the camping office for €2 euro

Children:

Only children under the age of 14 are permitted, they need to be surprised at all times but enter for free with an adult ticketholder.

ZIPIT

Zipit is a high wire forest adventure park with a difference. A place for young and old, where children can let their imagination run wild and where adults can embrace their inner child. You can climb high into the treetops, swing into cargo nets, even ride a bmx across a bridge, before zipping down one of our many ziplines. A 15% discount is in place for people attending the festival using the online booking code: ND15BOAT TOURS and KAYAKING 

If you want to take to the water to explore the islands of Lough Key you can book a boat tour or a kayak here.
