All you need to know for the Kilmainham outdoor gigs this week
This weekend, three concerts take place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham on the grounds of IMMA, with Tiesto on Saturday August 26th, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds on Sunday August 27th and Boygenius on Monday August 28th.
Here’s all the info from the organisers MCD thus far.

Saturday August 26th – Tiësto

Sunday August 27th – Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds
Support: Primal Scream, Happy Mondays
Monday August 28th – Boygenius
Support: Muna, Ye Vagabonds
What time does the site open?
Gates Open: 5:00pm
Support 5:30pm
Due to increased traffic and security measures patrons are advised to be at the venue in sufficient time BUT we aware that no queuing is allowed prior to gates opening.
If patrons do turn up they will be turned away at restricted area points around the venue. Queuing in streets around the venue will cause disruption to local residents and organisers appeal to patrons to heed this advice and respect the community living in the vicinity of the venue.
What should I wear?
This is a standing only concert (with the exception of the ticketed accessible platform). This event is outdoors and the concert will take place rain or shine. Please check weather conditions and dress appropriately, but remember no umbrellas.
This is a greenfield site. No sandals/heels – sturdy boots/ wellies/runners only.
What can I bring in?
Do not bring backpacks or large handbags. There will be no cloakroom or storage facilities on site. Bags must not be left at entrances or surrounding areas. Any items left will be removed and disposed of accordingly.
Strict security checks will be in operation. Patrons are especially advised not to bring backpacks or large handbags as you may be refused entry or experience delays on entry.
Glass or cans, umbrellas, alcohol, folding chairs, garden furniture, selfie sticks, flares will not be permitted.
No professional cameras or cameras with a detachable lens, video cameras & audio.

To ensure as smooth an access as possible and to avoid any unnecessary delays we strongly suggest that you bring as little personal belongings with you as possible with you to the event.
We recommend if you are bringing personal bag, purses or clutch bag, you should only bring those of smaller sizes i.e. those measuring no greater than A4, Everyone will be subject to a search.
Age Policy
All of the concerts are STRICTLY OVER 18’s. Strict age monitoring will be in place at all entrances. The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission without refund to anyone who fails to comply.
How to get there?
Transport
Organisers advise instructing all concert goers to walk, bike, or use public transportation to the show. There will be no parking facilities provided at the concert site.
Plan and book your return travel arrangements in advance allowing at least an extra 1.5hrs travel time to/from the venue. Promoters do not operate transport to/from venue this is matter for customers to arrange in advance.

APPROACH ROUTES
Please follow the signage to direct you to the concert entrance. The entrance is the EAST GATE on Military Road.
Security & Safety
Obey the stewards and Gardaí and instructions given over the public address for your own safety.
Don’t rush to exits after the concerts.
There are no re-admissions to the concert. If you leave, there is no re-entry.
The Promoters and An Garda Siìochaìna reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone under the influence of alcohol.
Searching is a condition of entry to protect your safety and that of others.
Due to increased security measures we strongly advise you allow sufficient time to get through security checks to gain entry to the venue in a safe and timely manner.
Security will also conduct additional further security searches of clothing, bags and other items, as determined by us in our reasonable discretion, including on entry and exit.
