ALS returns to Killyon Manor in Meath from August 21st to 23rd this year.
The twelfth edition of the highly recommended small considered festival has announced its first acts.
This year’s ALS will feature three days – the big Saturday night, the gentle Sunday til afternoon (no night programme or camping on Sunday night) and a limited capacity Friday night.
Included in the first round are UK liquid drum and bass legend LTJ Bukem for a very special Saturday closing set on the wonderful Further Afield stage, along with a DJ, label boss and NTS Resident of similar stock – Bradley Zero.
House legends Steffi X Virginia touch down in The Manor along with dub producer Mad Professor for a hybrid live/DJ performance.
On the Irish music front, there is the striking art-pop of Stella & The Dreaming and 70s-flavoured Cork band The Fynches.
A special show in tribute spiritual jazz maestro Sun Ra with A Cosmic Tribute To Sun Ra Arkestra is scheduled.
