Dublin-based Nina Knezevik and Paul Kelly or Deadbots have released the first single from their forthcoming debut album Love Unlimited.
You may already be familiar with their tracks like ‘Heartbreaker’ from 2012 and last year’s release ‘UFRST’. ‘Love Unlimited’ represents a slightly more melodic and disco-driven sound for the duo, a robust introduction to the album.
‘Love Unlimited’ the single and an extended remix version by The Emperor Machine are both out on March 14th via deadbotsmusic.com.
Deadbots are a Dublin-based dance duo Nina Knezevik and Paul Kelly that are probably more well-known outside of the country but tunes like ‘Heartbreaker’ from 2012, remixes for Phantasy Sound and Designer Drugs and now ‘UFRST’, their latest track, SHOULD change that.
The electro-house track taken from The Blue Collection compilation, out on Eskimo Recordings this week with tracks from Freeform Five & Róisín Murphy, Blamma! Blamma! and more. Give it a deep spin.
‘Heartbreaker’ sounds like the best of Kavinksy and the Ed Banger crew’s smooth night music indulgences. It’s ’80s-inspired electro gilded in a coat of sharp synth glitz. Its makers, Deadbots consists of Paul Kelly of Dublin and Nina Knezevic of Vancouver. Listen to the full EP out on Gung Ho! Recordings after the jump and pick it up on Beatport.
