BASED is an all-ages music festival returning to the Button Factory for its sixth edition this October, Halloween week.
Aimed at presenting an inclusive festival event for all-ages, Based presents a lineup of indie rock bands, with the next one a Halloween special at Button Factory on Tuesday October 28th from 4pm to 10pm.
BASED events are alcohol-free, and this October’s edition, presented by Fluttertone, features a costume contest and the young bands lined up later this month included.

BASED has teamed up with Safe Gigs Ireland, a non-profit organization who will provide the event with dedicated volunteers to help ensure safety and a positive presence. BASED is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful atmosphere. This includes medics on-site, extra security, and approachable Safe Gigs staff.
Niall Byrne is the founder of the most-influential Irish music site Nialler9, where he has been writing about music since 2005.
