Still Bill: The Bill Withers documentary
“It’s OK to head out for wonderful, but on your way to wonderful you’re going to have to pass through alright. And when you get to alright, take a look around, that maybe as far as you go.”
Brought to Ireland by Fresh & Noble and debuted in Cork last night, Still Bill is a documentary portrait of Bill Withers – the man responsible for stone-cold classics like ‘Ain’t No Sunshine’, ‘Lean On Me’, ‘Lovely Day’, ‘Grandma’s Hand, and ‘Just the Two of Us’.
Choice Cuts will be joining Fresh and Nobile at the Dublin screening in The Sugar Club on September 30th at 8pm. The screening will start at 8.45pm and there will be music afterwards. Entry is €7.50. More info.
