Cabal announce University of Limerick campus party
Ahead of their appearance at Lumo this Saturday, the Limerick collective Cabal, who started putting on student Monday night parties in the city and sold everyone of them out, have announced Cabal in the Courtyard, a part on the campus of University of Limerick on Monday May 13th. It’ll be their biggest gig yet.
Tickets go on general sale Thursday this week at 8pm, with the link posted on the event beforehand. and subscribe to their mailing list to get pre-release access.
The lineup is TBC but Cabal has hosted the likes of New Jackson, Quinton Campbell, Mix & Fairbanks, Jar Jar Jnr, myself Nialler9, with many local supports given a good start and more. See some footage here.
Here’s their blurb:
We’re bringing the Cabal atmosphere to the UL Student Unions Courtyard for a once off open-air party, the likes of which Limerick has never seen before.
When putting together this show we wanted to curate an unforgettable experience by bringing together some of Irelands most talented
artists, both audio and visual, along with an insanely high level of production. After months of hard work we believe we have everything in
place to deliver that unforgettable experience.
Just to convey what we mean, here’s a glimpse of we’re bringing with us; A full Funktion One Festival Grade Sound System (think Forbidden
Fruit or Body & Soul), a unique live visual production put together by some of the country’s most talented visual artists, and a line-up
comprised of artists at the forefront of Irelands thriving electronic music scene.
The 13th of May coincides with the official end of UL’s Summer Exams, we figure this is the best way for everyone to have one last blowout
before we all go our separate ways for the Summer!
On a personal note, this also marks the end of the Cabal founders time as students in the University of Limerick. With that in mind, we
couldn’t think of a better way to round off a great four years in UL than with our most ambitious party to date, so we hope you’re as
excited as we are!
