ONO YA is a new project from the stalwarts of the Irish music scene.
Conor and Sinéad are known for making music under various guises – Adams with All Tvvins and previously The Cast Of Cheers and a couple of others, while Sinéad currently plays with Daithí and Paul Noonan’s Houseplants live band, has released solo material and collaborated with Elaine Mai and Daithí.
Conor and Sinéad “bonded over a shared love of laughing,” and started making music together in Conor’s kitchen last year.
ONO YA’s first two songs are released on Friday – presave here – but you can hear ‘Plastic Mask’ and ‘Flying Bones’ here today.
‘Plastic Mask’ is a soft glowing vocal-layered intro-style track with the refrain “I wanna be a dreamer.”
‘Flying Bones’ is a short intimate alternative indie number.
Follow the band at Tik-Tok and Instagram.
