Daughter – ‘Home’ (Jon Hopkins remix)

Jon Hopkins continues his brisk pace of work this year after his Immunity album with a soundtrack for the Saoirse Ronan-featuring end of world film How I Live Now, from which we’ve already heard his Bat For Lashes collaboration.

Daughter’s music does have a dystopian foreboding bent already so on the remix of ‘Home’, Hopkins focuses on increasing the tension with subtle percussive elements. Subtle strokes. The soundtrack is mostly Hopkins’ original work and is out now.
