Ahead of his previously announced sold out indoor gig at 3Arena in March, the Talking Heads auteur David Byrne is to play a big outdoor Dublin show at St. Anne’s Park.
David Byrne plays Sunday June 7th at St. Anne’s Park in Clontarf.
The show features a touring band that comprises 13 musicians, singers and dancers, including members of the American Utopia band, all of whom will be mobile throughout the set.
His last show here on the American Utopia tour was one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen.
Byrne released the album Who Is the Sky?, an album that is a bit more cringe than his previous work with on the nose lyrics. However, I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to see him live.
TICKETS: Tickets for David Byrne at St. Anne’s Park cost between €89.55 and €99.99 plus fees and go on sale this Friday, February 6th at 10am at 10am from Ticketmaster.ie.
