DIANA’s ‘Born Again’ has featured here a few times in the eight or so months, and now, the Toronto band are about to release their debut LP Perpetual Surrender on August 19th on Jagjaguwar.
The video’s kaleidoscopic effects for the title track (folded paintings of singer Carmen Elle manipulated) is a good fit for the track’s atmospheric soft-rock leaning pop. The song sounds a bit like Chairlift’s recent album Something. The song gets a 12″ release backed with a as yet unheard Four Tet remix available on the pre-order.
