Below, catch DJ Jesse’s 10 favourite Irish songs of recent times.
1.
Offica – O Di Dan Dan
This tune goes off every time. Offica always brings energy, and the way he mixes Yoruba into drill just makes it hit different. It’s catchy with a very well known sample.
2.
Jordan Adetunji – Kehlani
Jordan’s style is mad unique. Played this in a club and heads were bouncing without even knowing who it was.
3.
Sello – ‘Oggy’
OGGY! Proper bounce track. Sello’s flow is cold, and the Irish slang in it just gives it that local edge. Always gets a reaction when I drop it – crowd knows it’s an anthem.
4.
A92 – ‘Plugged In Freestyle’ (Fumez the Engineer)
This freestyle made serious waves in the scene. Raw, fast, and every verse hits hard. Still feels like a moment every time it drops.
5.
Travy x Elzzz – Blockbuster
One word: smooth. These two glide on the beat. It’s dark but clean, and always makes people screw up their face in a good way. Certified banger.
6.
Hare Squead – Flowers
When I talk about vibes, this is the track to comes to mind. Light, bouncy, and just makes people feel good. It’s the type of track I play when you want to lift the mood or nice sunny day.
7.
Soulé – Love Tonight
Real feel-good energy. Soulé’s voice is smooth, and this track gives proper sunset party vibes. Great for opening a set or slowing things down with style.
8.
Plantain Papi, F3Miiii – 22
Something about the melody in this track, and the bassline ! Yeh this one doesn’t get skipped .
9.
Jafaris – Time
The first time I heard this I had to add it to my playlist straight away, I think I had it on repeat for a few days. Such an amazing track!
10.
Jazzy – Someday
Big tune. Jazzy’s vocals are sweet and the production is proper clean. It fits in anywhere—day party, warm-up set, late night. Just feels right.
