Electric Picnic add Smirnoff dance stage and Trenchtown lineups

The Electric Picnic stage announcements continue apace as the festival adds the lineups to Smirnoff Sound Nation and music of Jamaican origin at Trenchtown.

Smirnoff Sound Nation:

The second year of Smirnoff Sound Nation was added with headliners Jungle (DJ Set), Effy, Shee, Tsha and Gorgon City the headliners among names like Tara Kumar, Derv, Collie, Mango, Mo Cultivation and Minikimono.


This year’s lineup includes 40% LGBTQ+ artists, underlining the brand’s commitment to championing diversity on and off the decks.

Accessibility is at the fore of the Smirnoff stage:

  • Stage dance Access which will also be wheelchair accessible
    Lowered bar countertops
  • Wheelchair accessible lift to take guests to the top deck of the spirit bar
    Braille drink menus
  • Sign language interpretation and screen captioning
  • Accessibility queues
  • Sensory-friendly features, including earbuds
  • Haptic suits

Trenchtown

Step into Trenchtown and transport yourself to the heart of Jamaica, from the streets of Kingston, down the country roads to Treasure Beach, where the spirit of reggae, dub, afrobeat and dancehall pulsates through every beat.

Picnic goers can expect the usual reggae, dub and dancehall along with Afrobeat, drum and bass, R&B, garage and jungle in the woods at Trenchtown, where soundsystems like Rub A Dub and Rise Up feature with much more.
