Fontaines D.C. release deluxe version of Romance

The new version of the band’s 2024 album features new songs and previously unreleased live versions.
The deluxe edition is available digitally today and features previous song ‘It’s Amazing To Be Young’, new song ‘Before You I Just Forget’ and a live unreleased acoustic version of ‘Starburster / In Heaven’, which interpolates the song that features in David Lynch’s 1977’s Eraserhead film ‘In Heaven (Lady In The Radiator Song)’.
‘Before You I Just Forget’ is a more relaxed sound for the band.
“Before You I Just Forget is a song that started with a vision of this really blown out sound, something that heaved and shifted with new details becoming apparent every time you would listen. Like never being able to step in the same river twice, the song morphs and changes finishing with an incredible string part by Grian.”
Conor Curley.
