Forbidden Fruit announce Jamie xx, Underworld, Caribou, Peggy Gou and more

The festival in Royal Hospital Kilmainham, IMMA has announced its first names for its 13th edition and it’s not an unlucky one.

In fact, it’s one of the strongest they’ve debuted with in a while with some of the biggest names in good electronic music announced including Underworld, Caribou, Jamie xx, Peggy Gou and more announced for Saturday May 31st & SundayJune 1st 2025.

There will be much more across four stages, but the addition of Jamie xx post the release of his recent album In Waves, 2025 is a good time for him to return after his previous appearances in 2011 and 2015.

A Caribou live show is always welcome, and coming after the release of Honey last year, and no headline show as yet, it will be a good time to see the updated fresh setlist from Dan Snaith and company.

Underworld meanwhile, are no stranger to Pod lineups having played All Together Now recently twice, but their live show never gets old, and they also have a latest album in Strawberry Hotel.

Elsewhere, there is the return of Peggy Gou, this time to the main stage, Mall Grab plays his only Irish festival of 2025 after a busy calendar here last year, returning shows for instrumental psych band Glass Beams and FCUKERs who supported Confidence Man last year.

There’s the “folk-house” of German duo Bunt, the London-based electronic soundscapist, nimino, UK dance producer Effy and more.
