Gig roundup: All Tvvins, Discotekken’s Amphibious Party, Nathaniel Rateliff, Dam Funk and more
All Tvvins have announced a headline show on Friday November 20th at the Academy in Dublin. Tickets are €15 on sale on Wednesday, 26th August at 9am from Ticketmaster.
Discotekken are taking to the water for an Amphibious Party on Culture Night September 18th. Starting at 6pm, the crew are taking a Viking Splash tour around Dublin before hitting the Sugar Club for some BBQ and a screening of Jaws. Then Dip DJs play it out with some disco,boogie and house til the early morning. Tickets €10-€20 depending on what you’re up for.
Nathaniel Rateliff and The Night Sweats are at The Workmans Club on October 21st. €16+fees on sale now from Ticketmaster.
The fifth Misha Freshin featuring Irish DJs and producers is back in the Bernard Shaw next Friday with Mynameisj0hn + Redmonk + Misha Crew. Free in.
The Dip DJs are also playing at a charity event to help raise funds to build a skate park in the remote Palestinian village of Nablus. It happens on Friday August 28th at Tengu Izakaya with sets from Wino Boyz and Frank B. Doors at 11pm- €5/€7.
Dam Funk and his live band are hitting The Sugar Club on October 22nd with Choice Cuts. Gaslamp Killer plays after too on a separate ticket.
Also announced this week: Minimum Maximum – Happenings x Nialler9 – an outdoor gig series happening at the Civic Offices at Wood Quay in the city. Starting next Friday with I Have A Tribe, Saint Sister and Stomptown Brass.
