Willie Nelson turns 90 @ Whelan’s – April 28th

Willie Nelson, one of the most influential singers and songwriters of his generation, celebrates his 90th birthday on April 28th, a host of Irish musicians will gather in Whelan’s to pay tribute including:

  • Brigid Mae Power
  • NC Lawlor
  • Seán Millar
  • Eileen Gogan
  • Arrivalists
  • Fergal Edward
  • Maija Sofia
  • Tandem Felix
  • Joseph Chester
  • Cian Imlé

All proceeds from the event will go to Aoibhneas Domestic abuse support for women and children & the Peter McVerry Trust.


MONO @ Opium Dublin – Sunday 4th June

The Tokyo four-piece Instrumental Rock band Mono are coming back to Ireland. The band will play Opium courtesy of U:Mack and Foggy Notions this Bank Holiday June 4th.


Stendhal Festival @ Ballymully Cottage Farm, Limavady – July 6th to 8th

The Wailers, Bell X1, Newton Faulkner, The Scratch, Cara Dillon, Turin Brakes and Yazz Ahmed are among the first names announced for the Northern Irish festival Stendhal’s thirteenth edition.

Irish acts also announced for Ballymully Cottage Farm include Joshua Burnside, Roe, Sasha Samara, Fya Fox, Winnie Ama, No Oil Paintings, Sprints, ModernLove, Crow Black Chicken, Overhead, the Albatross, Red Eye Pariah, Manukahunney, Pinkslips, Claire Sands, Lauren Ann, Invaderband, Boy M5, Search Party, Tramp, Marion Hawkes, Cora Kelly, Emily McCormick, Polar Bolero, Edgy C and GG Carma and Baroda while DJ sets from critically acclaimed ex-Portishead DJ Andy Smith and BBC 6 Music DJ the Fun Lovin’ Criminal himself Huey Morgan re on the bill.

Homebeat  present a new series || Parallel Lines || , a new vehicle for unique, once off, double headline shows – combining two of their favourite artists in one room, for one night only.

Kicking the series off in style – we are thrilled to welcome the incredible talents of Icelandic art -chanteuse and Homebeat favourite JFDR alongside an Irish debut for German contemporary pianist & composer Nicklas Pashburg for an evening of incredibly atmospheric music in The Sugar Club on Friday April 14th.


Calexico @ The Helix, Dublin – 5th November 2023

American dusty indie country band Calexico are set to perform a 20th anniversary tour of Feast of Wire, their seminal 2003 album, at The Helix in Dublin this November.


Alfa Mist @ Opium – 16th November 2023

Alfa Mist is the English jazz producer and musician who got into making music through hip-hop production. He has produced for artists such as rapper Loyle Carner, composing neo-classical works for the London Contemporary Orchestra, and reworking tracks from composer Ólafur Arnalds and pioneering jazz label Blue Note.  


David Keenan – National Concert Hall – 13th September 2023

After the release of last week’s Crude Boyo EP, and last year’s Crude album, the Dundalk singer-songwriter will play a big headline show this September at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. Tickets from €26.90 including booking fees on sale Friday 24th March at 10AM from NCH.ie.


Ulrika Spacek @The Workman’s Club Dublin – Saturday 20th May

Foggy Notions presents the English alternative rock band this May in The Workman’s Club.


CVC @ Whelans, DublinSaturday 16 September

The Welsh psych-rock-pop band CVC announced a Dublin date at Whelan’s this September. The band just released their album Get Real, which will get a proper Irish physical release date 21 April on CVC Recordings via Secretly Distribution.


Elvis Costello @ NCH, Dublin – Thursday 7th September

Elvis Costello, Mariza and Brad Mehldau are the latest announcements for the National Concert Hall’s Perspective Series 2023

Mariza, the Portuguese fado singer plays Thursday 27th July, Elvis Costello with Steve Nieve plays Thursday 7th September and jazz pianist and composer Brad Mehldau plays Sunday 17th September 7.30pm

Elvis Costello tickets are priced at €85.
