Glastonbury’s Michael Eavis to give keynote speech in Dublin
Best in Fest ICON is an upcoming festival and event masterclass taking place in the Aviva Stadium on Thursday April 27th at Best in Fest ICON.
Michael Eavis of Glastonbury will be among the 6 keynote speakers along with Ms Shona McCarthy CEO of the Edinburgh Fringe, Mr Tom Harfleet of RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Mr Ian Renton, Director of The Festival Cheltenham.
Best in Fest ICON is the idea of Shell Holden of Sinead McNamara (July – City Spectacular) who say they “recognised that there was a lack of inspirational platforms for founders and organisers alike.”
Best in Fest Masterclasses was launched with a clear and distinct focus: to offer delegates an accessible, educational and most importantly highly inspirational platform where they hear from dynamic and iconic festival heroes, network with local and international peers, and most importantly leave our events feeling reenergised and reinvigorated.
Our first Best in Fest FUND Masterclass gathered together heroes of the festival & events industry in Ireland to discuss the key, and often extremely challenging, issue of sustainable private and public funding for the successful delivery of festivals and events.
Tickets are aimed at festival professionals and tickets are €239 +fees.
