John Cowhie and Richie Jape are good friends so maybe some of that Jape magic has rubbed off on this song or perhaps Richie plays on it – I’m not sure but ‘Behind The Sun’ demonstrates the same attention to head-nodding basslines and nuanced production as his friend. It’s still very much of its own voice though thanks to the vocals. ‘Behind This Sun’ is the second song from Goodtime’s soon to be released album The Colours Of Darkness .
